SE Productons Officers -
Riyadh
S.E.
Productions was organized in November 2003 by professional
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) as a cultural organization
in Saudi Arabia to provide best services to the Filipino
community in upholding cultural awareness, personality
development and humanitarian services.
S.E. means
Special Events.
Philippine
Embassy in Riyadh accredited the group last November 2003
hence all their projects, undertakings and activities are
being recognized by the Philippine Embassy.
One of its
visions is to develop and enhance the genuine talents of
Filipinos while they are away from their homelands. As the
tag line implies ‘Your Gateway to Stardom”, S.E.
Productions helps many promising artists in the field of
music, fashion shows, theater and other forms of performing
arts.
Despite
the diverse culture in the foreign land, the group manages
to conduct various skills enhancement trainings, workshops,
seminars and personality development in relation to the
aspirations and ambitions of every Filipino and akin to the
modern approach of talent formation while having a temporary
residence outside the Philippines.

Jeddah
Among the
shows presented were:
1.
HABI
Selection of Models
– held in Al Taj International School
After
the training, workshops and seminars, 25 new talents,
particularly in modeling, were selected by the Riyadh
Fashion Designers Association for a possible fashion
exposure.
2.
CAMERADERIE CLUB Show
– held in West Faisal Compound
S.E.
Talents were invited to grace the occasion of CAMERADERIE
Club, a group of Filipino photographers, during their photo
exhibits by showcasing the apparel collections of Al-Sawani
Group of Companies particularly FUBU, LEVIS, ESPRIT, REPLAY,
etc.
3.
FLOWERS &
FASHION
– held in West Faisal Compound (April 1, 2004)
A
different show, featuring the creations of Riyadh Fashion
Designers Association, was held at the West Faisal Compound
in central Riyadh participated in by 16 fashion designers,
with an added LACOSTE array of apparel collections.
4.
Launching
of SUPERSAVERS
– held in White Palace Hotel (May 26, 2004)
Aside
from holding fashion shows, S.E. Productions ventured out in
Event Management. Supersavers Inc., is a networking company
involve in appliance loans to OFWs worldwide. S.E.
Productions was tapped to manage the launching of their
products. From hosting, production numbers, singing, dancing
and modeling, S.E. Talents provided quality entertainment to
Supersavers members.

PHIL.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
– held at the Philippine Embassy, Riyadh (June 10, 2004)
Upon
the request of the Philippine Embassy, S.E. Productions, in
cooperation with other cultural groups, held a mini-fashion
show at the Philippine Embassy to commemorate the 106th
Philippine Independence Day celebration.

PRESS
CONFERENCE OF NEW TALENTS
– Phil.
Chancery Hall, Philippine Embassy, Riyadh (July 29, 2004)
In
preparation for the big production show “SEQ Reload Live in
Riyadh”, and after a month of searching for new talents,
S.E. Productions presented 50 new talents to the public,
media and sponsors. Likewise, oath taking of new set of
officers were held and H.E. Ambassador Bahnarim Guinomla was
the inducting officer.

Reload…Live in Riyadh
– Variety Show – Philippine Embassy Riyadh (August 26,
2004)
Pattern to the variety show in the Philippines, hundred of
S.E. Talents were able to show their talents at the
Philippine Embassy. From kids to adults, they paraded in a
fashion show sponsored by CITY PLAZA, Bossini for Kids, etc.
S.E. singers and dancers participated in a variety show-like
event.
8.
SEARCH FOR
GINOO and BB. PILIPINAS RIYADH 2004
– Philippine Embassy Riyadh (November 17, 2004)
A big
production show was conceptualized to honor young OFWs in a
search for the prestigious title “Ginoo at Binibining
Pilipinas Riyadh 2004”. 18 male and females competed for the
titles.
First
time in the history of competition in Riyadh that internet voting was
introduced for the first time. Seven foreign judges,
including former Miss Taiwan, were invited to judge.
This event also features the
first computerized judging. SE-Productions tapped the
COMSOFIL with their expertise in Microsoft Access. Though
COMSOFIL's system is very primitive unprofessional and time consuming, that event marked the
beginning of SE-Production's success in combining today's
technologies with their shows.
Later on, the lousy works of COMSOFIL was replaced by a professional
Computerized judging and Display System by Solutions for
Everything Inc. (S4E-Inc) was introduced during the
Riyadh Singing Pop Icon 2005. For your information,
the
OFW-SOS Hotline System is also developed by S4E-Inc.
9.
YSTILO…A
Passion for Fashion
- Philippine Embassy Riyadh (March 17, 2005)
Since
many S.E. Talents had achieved prestige and academic honors,
S.E. Productions gave a tribute to these talents by means of
a fashion show showcasing the gown creations of SE Fashion
Designer, Emil Santos and the latest collections of Giordano
apparels.

CORONA
BALL –
British
Embassy, Diplomatic Quarters,Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
– April 28, 2005
S.E.
Talents were invited by the British Embassy to grace their
CORONA BALL. Because of the success of YSTILO, Three models
were given the chance to grace the occasion and at the same
time, sashayed in the ramp featuring the creation of
Filipino designer and SE Officer Emil Santos

SEARCH
FOR RIYADH SINGING POP ICON
– Philippine Embassy Riyadh (January to April 2005)
Patterned to Star In A Million Singing Competition, S.E.
Productions sponsored a four-month search for Riyadh Singing
Pop Icon. 16 contestants passed the audition and every
month, eliminations were held.
Sophisticated Computerized
Judging System developed by S4E-Inc was introduced. The
system also features automated Video Display and Live Text

Dibaratun emerged as the 1st Riyadh Singing Pop
Icon.

PHIL.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
– held at the Philippine Embassy, Riyadh (June 10, 2005)
Upon
the request of the Philippine Embassy, S.E. Productions, in
cooperation with other cultural groups, held a Cultural Show
dubbed as “Nagkakaisa sa Pagkakaiba” at the Philippine
Embassy to commemorate the 107th Philippine
Independence Day celebration.
13.
SONY
LAUNCHING OF NEW PRODUCTS
-held on August 22, 2005 at al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh and
September 2, 2005 in Jeddah. Upon the invitation of Modern
Electronics, S.E. Productions presented intermission numbers
during the launching of the new electronic products of Sony.

1st
WESTERN UNION BASKETBALL CUP TOURNAMENT
– held at the Philippine Embassy, Riyadh (Sept. 9, 2005)
Upon
the request of the Limelight Event Management Inc, S.E.
Productions, organized the opening of the Basketball
Tournament for Philippine Schools in Riyadh.

SEARCH FOR
GINOONG AND BINIBINING PILIPINAS RIYADH 2005
– held at the Philippine Embassy, Riyadh (Nov. 17, 2005)
Again,
for its 2nd year, S.E. Productions held the Personality and
Talent Search for young OFWs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 18
contestants participated in Talents, Fashion Show and
Personality contests.

D.K.N.Y.
AND HARVEY NICHOLS SHOW
– Yibreen Beauty Center, Riyadh (March 11, 2006)
S.E. Productions array of
international fashion models in Riyadh sashayed in an
exclusive fashion shows attended by members of Royal
Families.

SEARCH FOR
TFC POPSTAR SAUDI ARABIA
(January
to May 2006)
Considered to be the biggest musical search for a popular
star, S.E. Productions was granted the franchise by ABS-CBN
The Filipino Channel to hold the first ever middle-east wide
search in Saudi Arabia to compete in Dubai on June 2, 2006.
More
importantly it is by means of these activities that the
group reaches out to the growing Filipino community in
Riyadh and the distressed Filipinos who are presently
experiencing labor and work problems. This is one main
objective why the group was created - to assist the
less-fortunate brethren by fund raising while giving
entertainment to the Filipinos in Saudi Arabia.
The
